Estimating Your Chances

SPORT

Your chance at an athletic scholarship depends on the quality and number of American talents in your sport.

Athletic LEVEL

The better you are in your sport, the higher your chance to get a high scholarship.

AGE

The sooner you go to the US after you graduate, the better. The coaches always look at the upside an athletes brings to the table.

ACADEMIC LEVEL

Athletic performance is the gateway to a good scholarship. Good academic performances can further enhance your scholarships.

OVERCOMING

ACADEMIC HURDLES

In addition to the athletic requirements for a sports scholarship, you also have to meet some academic requirements. However, these are not as strict in the USA as they are in other parts of the world. In the USA, you can theoretically start studying without a high school diploma.

High school graduation

Just like here, a high school diploma is sufficient to qualify for studying in the United States. Big plus: In the USA there is no numerus clausus due to the higher financial barriers.

Secondary School Certificate AND Apprenticeship

If you started an apprenticeship right after graduating from secondary school, you can start studying in the USA after graduation. This option is limited to universities that belong to the NAIA association.

Secondary School Certificate

Yes, you’ve read that correctly! Even with a secondary school leaving certificate, there is the possibility to study in the USA. The General Education Test (GED) makes it possible! This test certifies that you have successfully completed high school and entitles you to study at a junior college. After two years of basic studies, you will receive a certificate that enables you to complete your bachelor’s degree at a regular university in two more years.

YOU ALREADY STUDY? NO PROBLEM!

You don’t have to bury your dream if you’ve already started studying at home. There are now two options for you. Either you switch directly to the USA to finish your bachelor’s degree or you switch to the USA for your master’s degree. In order to have the best possible chances, you should try to stick to the standard period of study. For the master’s program you need a completed bachelor’s degree.

COMPLETE

YOUR PROFILE

After starting the collaboration, you start your path to a sports scholarship with your personal athlete manager. They will help you to complete all the necessary steps to complete your profile and to be able to make a decision.

CREATE YOUR ATHLETE PROFILE

We will create your athlete profile based on your athletic and academic background. In order to underline the facts given in the profile, we need video footage of you in action. No worries! We take over the editing of the videos and let you appear in the best possible way.

MAKE CONTACT WITH THE Coaches

After contacting the coaches, it’s your turn to get a sense which coach would be the perfect fit for you. Of course, your athletes manager is always on your side. Nevertheless, the coaches would also like to write and speak to you in order to get to know you as a person.

TAKE ACADEMIC TESTS

On the way to the USA you have to take various entry tests. For prospective Bachelor students, these are the TOEFL and SAT tests. The tests certify your skills in the English language and other subject areas. But no worries! You can’t fail the tests and repeat them as often as you want. Our experienced language teachers will help you prepare and make sure that the tests do not become an obstacle on your way to the USA.

Committing

TO A COLLEGE

For us it is extremely important that your offer perfectly fits your academic, athletic and financial requirements. For this reason, we focus on your individual wishes and expectations and make sure that the university meets your requirements and offers your degree program. It is particularly important to us that the coaches focus on continuous development of their athletes!

Your athlete manager will be a very valuable companion in your decision-making.

SIGNING THE OFFER,
